QA Engineer

A US product company is looking for a QA (Manual, Auto) Engineer to join the team in HCM.

Responsibilities:

• Own quality for a dedicated product team
• Develop and execute manual tests which adhere to company quality standards
• Manage automation testing and test strategy
• Design and implement automation tests scripts, debug and define corrective actions
• Collaborate with software engineers on writing tests and improve test coverage together

Your Skills and Experience Must-Have:

• At least 2 years in ensuring quality of web app across browsers
• Fluent English is a must in both communication and documentation
• Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Hands on experience with a programming language such as Javascript/Typescript
• Experience with Cypress automation framework
• Experience with API testing
• Are coachable and personable, and, ideally, with a good sense of humor!
• A passionate individual who is not afraid to ask questions and eager to learn.
• Keep improving the knowledge of current technologies and tools.
• Provide recommendations to improve the effectiveness of the team.

Nice To Have:

• Open to working late a few days a week for meeting with the US
• Experience in Performance and Security testing is a plus

Soft Skills:

• A team player who is willing to disseminate knowledge to other team members.
• Help team follows Agile best practices and deliver the most value to the customers quickly.
• Learn the system and product in-depth.
• Stay on the cutting edge of best practices and come up with ways to improve.
• Design and implement solutions that help the team deliver features faster, safer, and to a high level of quality.
