Software Architect

An US product company is looking for a highly motivated and passionate Software Architect to drive high priority modernization initiatives. The Software Architect leads the design, development, and deployment for architecture across our application stack that runs from a MCU 8 bit to a large scale backend to serve milition people. Recommend and implement architectural solutions to solve complex technology challenges. Ideally, you’re someone who can write code with the best of them, but also wants to help guide the team towards a technology you believe in.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with team members to determine best practices and requirements for software, review product work, including detailed code, from other team members for approval to deploy; provide technical feedback as needed
• Create and maintain documentation of architecture solutions, such as reference architectures, implementation diagrams, etc and relevant systems, procedures and processes.
• Deliver technical solutions that solve for new levels of complexity, scale and performance
• Develop and maintain a library of deployable, tested, and documented automation design scripts, processes, and procedures
• Oversight and approval of final programs and products before formal launch

Qualifications:

• 5-7 years of experience designing and implementing software applications, proven track record of delivering results in software/technology consulting environments.
• Professional architectural certification in Java and others is strongly preferred
• Experience working on large-scale software projects
• Demonstrated knowledge of web applications, cybersecurity and open source technologies
• Experience developing software utilizing various coding languages including Java, C#, C++, and more
• Professional experience analyzing code for weaknesses and errors, and overseeing plans to improve them
• Experience designing secure software systems based upon industry-specific specifications
• Good technical leadership skills and relevant experience working with other highly technical resources
• Experience in embedded software
