Senior PHP Developer (WordPress)

A software company from Europe is looking for a fulltime Wordpress Developer with the following requirements. As a medior developer you don’t see problems, you see challenges.

Job description:
You will work in a team of professionals where the pm is a facilitator and the team is self managed. We use CI/CD piplines to make sure the versions are tracked and the code is tested. We care about code standards and maintainable approach in everything we do. Some of the work is summarized below:
– Develop new Wordpress sites and Wordpress plugins.
– Design and develop mostly 100% interactive web applications.
– Maintain, refactor, and migrate old applications onto a new platform.
– Develop custom data driven applications using PHP.
– Operate in an Agile/Scrum Environment.
– Participate in team brainstorming and design sessions.
– Communicate well with all team members, non-technical as well as technical.
– Experience in Symfony Framework is always welcome but now a must.

Job requirement:
– 4+ years of Wordpress development experience.
– Expert experience in PHP (OOP is a plus).
– Front-end Web Development skills with JavaScript/jQuery/Ajax/React/ES6.
– English communication.
– Careful, highly organized and self-learning attitude.
– Understanding and Experiences with PSR/Code standard.
– Transparent in knowledge and communication.
– Good soft skills: team player, not afraid to provide feedback to colleagues, etc.
– Ready to work overtime if necessary (paid).
– Available for long term.
