QA Test Leader

A product software company is recruiting a QA Test Leader in District 3, Ho Chi Minh.

You will be joining the tech team and taking responsibility for product testing and quality assurance.  You will report directly to the Chief Product Officer. As a Quality Assurance Test Leader you will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Leading the Quality Assurance testing team.
• Performing structured testing all products.
• Clearly recording the results of your testing and communicating with the team.
• Highlighting any problems you discover and feeding them back to the appropriate team.
• Providing your viewpoint on ways to improve the UX of the product.
• Running automated tests.
• Suggesting ideas you may have for improvements to the features of the product.
• Keeping to deadlines and delivering consistently good work.
• Planning and organising regular team training sessions.
• Building and maintaining a strong culture of great team morale, cohesiveness and high-performance.

Essential Skills & Experience: 

• A relevant university degree.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with tech products.
• Prior experience of product testing and quality assurance in a relevant environment.
• Experience in a management role is an advantage.
• Attention to detail to ensure bugs and mistakes are picked up quickly.
• The ability to keep your work clear and organised.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced start up environment.
• Ability to think like the end user to understand customer needs.
• English language to a good standard.

Compensation:

Salary: up to 2000 USD.

Bonuses: Cash performance-linked bonus and stock options.

Other benefits:

Monday – Friday 0900-1800

Saturday 0900-1300

On top of this there are three extra benefits.

Firstly, staff can shift their hours to come in earlier or later, provided they make up the core hours of 1000-1500 in the office to be available for team meetings and training.

Secondly, staff can shift working hours forward or back up to 3 days, so they can choose to work longer hours on one day to get time off on another day if this style of working suits them, or if they have personal commitments.

Thirdly, staff can work remotely for up to 4 days per month, provided that they have clear work to complete during this time.

These changes soften the Saturday working, and do mean that if Saturday working is a deal breaker for any person then they can manage their working schedule to avoid it entirely.
