System Administrator

An UK software company is looking for System Administrator to join their team in HCM. One major thing is that their English must be perfect.

The standard process, you can do the initial interview to assess their English, personality and general demeanour. The candidate must be 100% trustworthy, reliable and we will also ask for background checks to be carried out (this will not be a standard requirement from now on for all new recruits).

Key responsibilities:

• Monitor infrastructure health.
• Assist with patching of servers and end user devices.
• Support internal users.
• Monitor service desk issues.
• Active Directory User management.
• O365 management/ maintenance.

Skills requirement (Essential):

• Experience working on a help desk and triaging issues.
• Windows desktop support (Win 10/11).
• Basic Windows Server support (Server 2012r2 onwards).
• Active Directory.
• O365/ Entra ID (Azure AD).

Skills requirement (Preferred):

• Veeam
• Hyper-V
• Intune
• Firewall experience (any appliance vendor)
• SQL Server experience (advantageous)

Personal Characteristics:

• Target driven, self-motivated and proactive.
• To have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• To have the ability to interact professionally with your colleagues and customers at all levels.
• Must be a team player.
• Highly organised with a high degree of responsibility.
• Prepared to accept responsibility for your own actions and those of your team.
