An US product company is looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to contribute to the product development team to develop the IoT platform based on BLE and Wifi for Physical Access Control

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Designing and developing firmware/software for existed/new embedded products
  • Developing/fixing code in the C++ and C programming languages
  • Testing the products including the automation unit/integration test

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • B.S., M.S. or equivalent degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or relevant major
  • At least 2 year of experience in design and development of firmware and applications for embedded software
  • At least 2 year of experience in programming with C/C++
  • Experience in software compilers and debugging tools
  • Knowledge in software architecture and design pattern in embedded software system
  • Knowledge in data structure and algorithm
  • Knowledge in communication protocols (I2C, UART, SPI…)
  • Knowledge in Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS)
  • Logical thinking, problem solving, learning attitude and team work skills

Additional Skills Preferred:

  • Experience in BLE, Wifi…, and varios ARM MCU (Noridc, STM, Cypress, ESP…) is a plus
  • Experience with other programming languages (C#, Python, etc.)
  • Experience with high level protocol (e.g MQTT, Rest API…)
