Full-stack Software Architect

A software company from Canada is looking for full-stack software architect
to work in our Ho Chi Minh office immediately.
The architect is the ultimate technical authority on what we’re building.
They’re responsible for identifying what technologies we’ll use, defining
the high-level architecture, and devising strategies for mitigating
technical risk. Once development is underway, the architect reviews the code
produced by our developers, and also takes the lead on particularly
difficult issues like performance, scalability, and hard-to-diagnose bugs.
The architect may code features themselves, or debug others’ code.

Our technical needs are many and varied. Some key technologies we work with
include:

* React and React Native
*.NET
* Java
* JavaScript
* Android and iOS native development
* PHP
* Amazon Web Services
* Ruby on Rails
* Python

The ideal candidate will have working knowledge of several of these
technologies, and the demonstrated ability to quickly ramp up on new ones.

Applicants must have at least five years of directly relevant work
experience.
The architect will also be expected to train our developers on coding best
practices, establish coding standards, and define processes (such as threat
modelling, code reviews, etc.) that the rest of the team will follow.

Applicants with prior experience working at a North American
software company (ideally in North America) are strongly preferred.

Strong written and verbal English skills are required.
